Novation

Novation makes 7 of the instruments this release defines, each with a page of its own setting out its MIDI implementation, read from the maker's own documents. Each is loaded in Python by the name beside it.

• Bass Station II novation/bass_station_ii: one voice that can play paraphonically; 94 controls; follows MIDI clock.
• Circuit novation/circuit: 4 parts; 4 drums; 299 controls; sends and follows MIDI clock; firmware 1.8.
• Circuit Rhythm novation/circuit_rhythm: 9 parts; 8 drums; 74 controls; sends and follows MIDI clock; firmware 2.0.
• Circuit Tracks novation/circuit_tracks: 6 parts; 4 drums; 358 controls; sends and follows MIDI clock.
• MiniNova novation/mininova: 18 voices; 557 controls; follows MIDI clock.
• Peak novation/peak: 1 or 8 voices; 246 controls; follows MIDI clock; firmware 2.1.
• Summit novation/summit: 1 or 16 voices; 2 parts; 250 controls; follows MIDI clock; firmware 2.1.
