Controls
In the order the definition gives them, by group. Under each control is the name a program calls it by, once pymidiinstrumentdefs.load("dreadbox/nymphes") has loaded them.

Where these facts come from
Source documents
- Nymphes Owner's Manual, its user manual, with the numbers on pages 22 and 23 given only as a picture, read on 6 October 2026 (the file read).
- Nymphes Firmware v2, its release notes, read on 6 October 2026 (the file read).
- V2.1 Firmware Update Fixes, its release notes, read on 6 October 2026 (the file read).
- support - Dreadbox Synthesizers, its download page, read on 3 October 2026 (the file read).
How they were read
FOUR DOCUMENTS, AND THE TWO THAT SETTLE THE MOST ARE INSIDE A FIRMWARE ARCHIVE. The user manual carries the controller list as a picture; the v2 release notes carry MPE, polyphonic aftertouch, the factory reset values and the fact that control change is off by default; the v2.1 fixes carry four changes including the one exception to that default; and the support page is where all three are found.
THE CONTROL LIST WAS READ OFF RENDERED PAGES, NOT EXTRACTED. See the comment above the definition. The table is on manual pp. 22 and 23 - the file's sheets, which print 21 and 22 - and Notes/4635_extract_nymphes.py renders both and asserts the thirteen characters of text they hold between them, so a later session that finds a text layer there knows the file changed rather than that this reading was lazy.
AND THE MAKER'S OWN PAGES REFUSED THIS MACHINE. dreadbox-fx.com/support/ and the Nymphes product page both returned 403 - Forbidden on 2026-10-06, three times, spaced apart, with nothing varied between attempts - while the same host served every wp-content/uploads file without complaint. So the support page cited here is the copy retrieved on 2026-10-03 for dreadbox/typhon, which is already in this library with its digest, and the manual, the firmware archive and its two release notes were fetched fresh from the addresses that copy names.
SIX OF THE SEVEN NUMBERS THE MAKER SKIPPED ARE ONES THIS CORPUS WOULD HAVE REFUSED ANYWAY. See the comment above. The seventh thing worth knowing is that "CC 120 and 123 got implemented" (v2_notes p. 4) for all sounds off and all notes off - channel mode messages, which the validator refuses, so neither is among the 82 below and both are recorded here.
AND ONE ABSENCE IN THIS DEFINITION WAS WRONG UNTIL THE SWEEP CAUGHT IT. The clock was written up as unmentioned, on the reasoning that an instrument whose LFOs offer a BPM rate must sync to something and no document said what. It does say: the fourth LFO rate setting is "BPM (where the rate can sync to midi clock)" (manual p. 13), eleven sheets before anything else about MIDI. An absence is a claim about every page, so it is the one kind of statement that has to be swept for rather than noticed.
NOT RECORDED: the transport, NRPN and the note range, none of which appears in any spelling in any of the four documents. And the mode, there being no implementation chart - though omni is what a factory reset leaves it in, Midi channel=OMNI/Mp=OFF (v2_notes p. 5).
