subroutine instance
The 3 commands under subroutine instance, each with its arguments and options.
subroutine instance [OPTIONS] COMMAND [ARGS]...
Look after this installation itself.
subroutine instance update
subroutine instance update [OPTIONS]
Change what this installation is called, or where it says it is.
Examples:
subroutine instance update --name "Hyperfence"
subroutine instance update --timezone Europe/London
The name is a label rather than an identity - it is what tells this installation from another one you can reach, and changing it breaks nothing.
The timezone is the last word on what a day means here. It is read by anybody who has not set their own and whose workspace has not set one, so on a fresh installation that is everybody.
Options
--name(str): What to call this installation.--timezone(str): Where it is, as an IANA zone like Europe/London.
subroutine instance workspaces
subroutine instance workspaces [OPTIONS]
Show every workspace on this installation, member or not.
Examples:
subroutine instance workspaces
'subroutine workspace list' shows the ones you can work in. This shows the ones that exist - which is a different question, and the one nothing answered: somebody who can create a workspace can create one you are not in, and it would not appear anywhere you were looking.
Seeing a workspace here does not let you read what is in it. Joining does, and joining is recorded. A workspace nobody who can still act may administer is marked: making somebody its administrator, you included, needs no membership first.
Options
--json(flag): Print the list as JSON.
subroutine instance projects
subroutine instance projects [OPTIONS]
Show the private projects nobody here can see any more.
Examples:
subroutine instance projects
A private project is visible only to the people shared into it. When none of them can see it any more - they have left, or answer to somebody who has, or are no longer in its workspace, or a private project above hides it - nothing can make it public or share it again. This lists those, and nothing inside them.
'subroutine -w <workspace> project share <project> <username>' lets somebody back in, and joining one is recorded. In a workspace you do not belong to, 'subroutine user add <you> --workspace <workspace> --role <role>' comes first.
Options
--json(flag): Print the list as JSON.
